Mary Corbet's Needle 'n Thread - Tips, Tricks & Great Resources for Hand Embroidery

Whitework: Altar Cloth in Linen

Hello,
I am Friar Luis, a Cistercian monk, and this week I finished a project on the altar cloth in linen whitework. I used the embroidery threads Anchor No. 1, and also a simple wooden frame.
The job was done to the altar of the Conventual Chapel ... and the center is a cross adorned the edges and bunches of grapes and wheat, used backstitch and satin stitch and a tapestry needle number 9. I'm Created this pattern basead from the pattern on Needle'N'Thread.

I hope you enjoy!

Fr. Luís

Beautiful! The look great. I really like the wheat!
