Priority USPS – Mostly
Most items from Needle ‘n Thread are shipped Priority via the USPS, on the day of purchase if purchased before noon. On rare occasions, shipping might not happen the same day, but it’s pretty rare. In those cases, your package will be shipped within 24 hours, Mon-Fri, unless noted in the product listing.
If shipping is not via Priority mail, this will be noted in the product listing as well.
When Will I Receive My Order?
In most cases, all orders are shipped the day they are received, when placed before noon Central time, Monday-Friday. There are no weekend shipping options.
Although the USPS usually lists 2-3 day arrival times for Priority packages, they no longer guarantee the delivery time, so I cannot guarantee arrival times. You’ll receive a tracking number for your order once it ships, and if your package goes astray or is taking longer than anticipated, you can use that tracking number to gather further information from your local postal carrier.
If your package goes missing altogether (ie, tracking shows that the package is lost), contact me and we will go from there. In most cases, delayed arrival does not mean the package is permanently lost – it usually means it’s just moving through the system more slowly than expected.
I’m very sorry to say that at this time, I generally do not ship international orders.
However, with certain items, I will occasionally ship (via US Priority International Mail) to Canada.
A tracking number is supplied for every order, including international orders.
For international orders, the buyer assumes all risks of international shipping. Needle ‘n Thread will not refund or replace shipped items that go astray or arrive damaged.
Regretfully, I don’t ship to Australia at this time, due to shipping restrictions. I don’t ship to the UK, the EU, or NZ due to new tax laws.
Goods Lost or Undelivered
Needle ‘n Thread does not refund the cost of shipped goods undelivered, whether due to faulty delivery service or due to misdirected mail with an incorrect address. Needle ‘n Thread does not input addresses for shipping. This is done by the customer at the time of ordering. Please double check your shipping address when you place your order.
Every shipment from Needle ‘n Thread receives a tracking number and is insured, so that, should your package go astray or missing entirely, you may make an insurance claim via the post office. You will need your original receipt (arrives via email at the time of ordering) and your tracking information (arrives via email when your package enters the postal system).
If there’s a reason for a return, then that means something’s gone wrong, and I’m sorry to hear that!
Please contact me with the nature of other problems within 3 days of receiving your order, and we’ll go from there.
In most cases, returns are issued for the cost of goods, minus shipping, and are issued upon my receipt of the original item, in its original state.
Please be aware that there are no refunds for electronically delivered ebooks and files. When you a purchase a kit that has an electronic file attached with the purchase, if you need to return the kit, the cost of the PDF will be deducted from the refund.
