Errata on Twinkle, Twinkle #2: Thread Color Numbers!

Amazon Books

Just a quick announcement!

In Part 2 of Twinkle, Twinkle that posted today, the DMC thread colors are incorrect. The fishbone stitch is worked in the darkest blue (797) and the stem stitch in the lightest blue (800). I had the color numbers reversed in the original article that went out via email this morning.

I have since corrected this on the website, and you can see the corrected article here.

If you received the article in your email inbox, it will not be correct, and there is no way for me to correct it in your email (because it’s already been sent). So please refer to the corrected article on the website, if you’re not sure about the color numbers.

(The visuals show the correct colors – the fishbone rays are dark blue, and the stem stitch rays are light blue – but the text in the original post that went out via email this morning has the color numbers backwards.)

Sorry about that!

  1. So long as the four shade numbers are the four shades for the project (and they are), most of us would have figured out the error. Thanks for giving us a heads up, to reassure us that we aren’t crazy.

And thanks for designing such a pretty ornament this year!
