Wooohoooo!!! It’s 2025!
I remember as a kid thinking of future years and giving them dates. 2025 sticks out in my mind as a year that I perceived as the most futuristic, sci-fi-ish sort of date ever.
I have no idea what I thought 2025 would be like in my kid imagination.
But I’m pretty sure I didn’t picture it like it is right now.
Right now, 2025 is really snowy.

We’re getting close! It’s hard to believe that a week from today is Christmas!
Here at the studio, we’re tying up last minute shipping. From Friday, December 20th through Thursday, January 2nd, the studio will be closed. You can still order from the shop, but we won’t ship again until January 2nd. In fact, we planned on today being our last shipping day, but I’ll pop in on Friday to tie up any orders that might still be lingering.
We have a couple more give-aways in our Here Comes Christmas series, though. Today, I’ll announce the winners from Monday’s give-away and start up a new give-away for two beautiful books from Search Press North America.
On Friday, we will have another give-away, too, because we can, and it’s fun, so why not?
And next week – making a return appearance on Needle ‘n Thread after a slight hiatus – we’ll have an Eye-Spy puzzle for you for Christmas. So still a few fun things to look forward to before we say ta-ta to 2024!

It’s not too often that I run sales in my online shop here on Needle ‘n Thread, but this year, to celebrate our First Ever Open House – which was loads of fun! – and to give everyone a little break on their holiday budget, I figured it’s a fabulous time to run a pre-Christmas sale.
During the sale, I have a couple new products I want to introduce to you. This will be a kind of “launch special” for those.
And one other good reason – we desperately need some space! With the new year right around the corner and plans percolating for upcoming project kits, we need shelf room. In January, we also have some new books coming in – including Jenny Adin-Christie’s magnificent Enchanted Embroidery – which will require Many Shelves.
So why not? Let’s have a sale! Now’s the time to stock up on anything currently in the shop that’s been on your wish list, because our entire current stock is all on sale.
