Last week, I reviewed Di van Niekerk’s new silk ribbon embroidery book, Little Flowers in Silk & Organza Ribbon. It’s a gorgeous book, accessible to beginners and beyond, with beautiful ribbon embroidery projects within!
And then, for the fun of it, I ran a quick little give-away so that one of you could add the book to your needlework library.
And to enter the give-away, I asked you answer this question: What attracts you most to ribbon embroidery and makes you Really Want this book?
And then many of you entered the give-away, and I got to read all your fun answers! I love reading your answers! Because give-aways always generate the most comments, I like to ask questions that give me some insight into what people like, embroidery-wise, and why. I always find them interesting to read, often inspirational, sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes funny, sometimes heart-warming or heart-wrenching. Sometimes, they’re very practical answers. Sometimes, they’re the stuff dreams and aspirations are made of: Some day, I will do this…
Well, whatever the case, I love reading your answers!
But down to business here – the next step was to generate a random number and pick the winner.
And today’s winner is…
Elizabeth has a lovely needlework blog called Sew in Love, where she writes about her own embroidery and needlework adventures, along with other interesting tidbits. I know Elizabeth is not one to add items arbitrarily to her needlework library, and I suspect she will make good use of this book! I’m excited to see what she does with it!
So, Elizabeth, drop me a line with your mailing address, and I’ll make the arrangements to have it delivered to you soon!
Thanks again to all for participating. You know if I could send you each a copy of the book, I would – but since I can’t, we’ll just have to do this again soon with another beautiful book or two!
